Do you want to learn to play the electric guitar? Well, why wouldn’t you, there really are very few things in life that are as rewarding as being able to play the electric guitar. To learn to play the electric guitar does take a lot of patience and at times can be very frustrating. It is very important the do stick to a structure if you are looking to make faster progress, but it is also as important to learn and easy song every now and then just so you know you are actually moving forward.

Being able to learn to play the electric guitar quickly and easily you will need a program that is set out to help you whether you are a complete beginner already have some sort of guitar experience. The best guides will show you everything from “picking a guitar to buy” to “what are the easiest chords to learn”.

All in all, to learn how to play the electric guitar is absolutely no different from learning how to play an acoustic guitar. One exception is that the strings will be made of steel and if you’re not used to it you will find that they how your fingers more. My advice would be to learn on a nylon stringed acoustic guitar first and then moved to electric, however the choice is yours and it doesn’t really make that much difference.

More and you learn to play the electric guitar, especially for beginners there are a few songs to try that I learnt in my beginning stages and you can have a look at them yourself. I will stress that while you learn to play the electric guitar you do need to follow a good structured programme (I will show you the one I use later).

Some of the songs I learnt to play first on electric guitar after following the Jamorama course are:-

Adams song by blink 182
Chasing cars by Snow patrol
Biko by Bloc party
What’s my age again by blink 182

You will find that if you follow the course as they tell you to then you will be playing these songs competently in no time at all.
